MAD Academy Annual Fundraising Campaign
The MAD program offers a deep dive into the creative media arts, delivering technical instruction competitive with most college-level programs and developing valuable skills applicable across a wide variety of career disciplines. While a portion of the funds necessary for this program are provided by the school district and educational grants, many of the extras like cameras, equipment, and field trips that make MAD unique, engaging and innovative are funded in part by the generous donations of our MAD community at large.
For the 2023-24 school year, we seek to raise a total of $120,000 to cover the cost of replacing equipment including 110 cameras used in all camera classes for grades 9 -12. The base cameras currently being used in the MAD elective classes are at least a decade old and in need of an upgrade.
Financial contributions to the MAD Foundation are tax deductible, entirely voluntary and not a condition of participation in the program, however your support at any level will help us achieve our goal and continue to provide the quality educational opportunity that makes MAD so unique.
